Community News: FLY IN Airport Berlin Brandenburg BER

Hello friends,

on the 30.8.2014 we had the first FLY IN on the still not opened Airport Berlin Brandenburg BER. About 75 private aircrafts followed the invitation from Berlin Aiports to land on the new, still closed, Southern runway 25L. A speciel Zone was marked for using the 4000 Meter long runway.

So far it was a premiere, since then no other aicrafts was allowed to park in front of the Terminal, so these private pilots with their aircrafts has been the first to use the new airport!

Unfortunately the pilots who decided the land on Sunday the 31.8.2014 had no luck, due to bad sight and heavy rain the Fly In was cancelled for this day.
