Am I the only one who love this band?
Or is there more people out there?

Just to get to the point...

Why is there so much hate about Metallica?
And why do people see them as overrated?

For me they are something great, I just love their lyrics and instruments.
It builds up for more and more for every song, and it's actually lots of meanings behind their lyrics.

So my question for you?

What do you think about Metallica?
And which ones are your favorite songs?

I love the old Metallica. and i like the newer Metallica.
My first Metallica record i bought was the Jump In Fire EP when i was 13 back in 1984!

I think there's so much "hate" amongst the metal crowd because they went somewhat commercial.
The black album wasn't speed metal anymore and load and re-load (in my humble opinion are a load of shit)
Where's the Metal in METALllica? It's rock. Not Metal
It gained a big following with the general rock music crowd but it wasn't the old Metallica i love (and the same goes for a lot metalheads out there)

Things were getting better with St Anger...but the production sucks.
I do like Death Magnetic. However the production could have been better on that one as well.
Having said that....the production from And Justice For All doesn't sound too great either.
Where's the bass? And Lars double bass sounds like an old typewriter

Fingers crossed for their new record. It might be good. :)
